Prescription Requirements
Draft template — must be reviewed by a qualified legal advisor before going live.
A valid prescription must:
- Be issued by a registered medical practitioner, showing their name, registration number and signature
- Show the patient's name and date
- Clearly list medicine names, strength, dosage and duration
- Be legible and not expired
Review
Every prescription is checked by an authorised pharmacist. Nothing is approved automatically. We may contact you for a clearer copy or the original prescription at collection/delivery.
Substitutions
We will not substitute any prescription medicine without the pharmacist's professional judgement and your consent.
